LIC Scholarship – Eligibility

Candidates who meet following criteria are eligible to apply for scholarship.

After Class 12th (XII) :

All candidates who have passed Class XII exam (or its equivalent – Regular/Vocational) / Diploma with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA grade in the Academic Year 2021-22/2022-23/2023-24
First year degree course in the field of Medicine, Engineering, Graduation in any discipline, Integrated course, Diploma course in any field or other equivalent course, vocational courses through Government recognized colleges / institutions or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) have taken admission in the academic year 2024-25.
The annual income (from all sources) of the parent/guardian should not exceed Rs 2,50,000 per annum (please see section 7(ii) for exemptions)

After Class 10th (X) :

All candidates who have passed the class 10th examination (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA grade in the academic year 2021-22/2022-23/2023-24.
Have taken admission in government recognized colleges/institutions or Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) to pursue first year of education in the field of professional/diploma courses in the academic year 2024-25
The annual income (from all sources) of the parent/guardian should not exceed Rs 2,50,000 per annum. (Please see section 7(i) for exemptions)

Special lic Scholarship for Girl Child (For Two Years) :

Female candidates who have passed class 10th examination (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA grade in the academic year 2021- 2022/2022-23/2023-24.
Must have taken admission in the academic year 2024-25 to pursue higher studies in the first year of vocational or diploma courses through Intermediate/10+2 pattern/Government recognized colleges/institutions or Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) for two years.
The annual income (from all sources) of the parent/guardian should not exceed Rs 2,50,000 per annum. (Please see section 7(i) for exemptions)
