The UPSSSC invites applications for 2,702 Junior Assistant (Kanisth Sahayak) posts across various Uttar Pradesh government departments, directorates, universities and offices. Selection will be based on shortlisting of PET‑2023 scores followed by a Main Written Examination and a qualifying Typing Test. Candidates must meet the essential qualifications, age limits and fee payment requirements. The recruitment offers a pay level of Level‑3 with a salary range of ₹5,200–₹20,200 (or ₹21,700–₹69,100 as applicable) plus a grade pay of ₹2,000. The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has issued Notice No. 1520 dated 25 September 2026, updating the schedule for the Junior Assistant Main Exam 2024 (Advt No. 12-Exam/2024). Originally scheduled for 30 October 2026, the Typing Test has been postponed to 13 November 2026 due to unavoidable reasons. Admit cards for the revised date will be released separately on the official website. Candidates must regularly check upsssc.gov.in for updates and further instructions.
