The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), has released Advertisement No. 06/2026 for recruitment to the post of Praveen (PGT)/Lecturer in non-government aided secondary schools of Uttar Pradesh. A total of 2,607 vacancies are available, including 2,329 in boys’ schools and 278 in girls’ schools. The pay scale is Level-8, ₹47,600–₹1,51,100. The minimum age is 21 years and maximum 62 years as on July 1, 2026.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus Details
- 📌Total Marks: 400 = Written Exam: 360 marks + Interview: 40 marks
- 📌The written exam has 120 multiple-choice questions—30 from General Knowledge and 90 from the relevant subject. The duration is 2 hours. Each correct answer awards +3 marks, while wrong or multiple answers attract a –1 penalty.
