The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released TRE‑4.0 notification for 32,388 school teacher posts across Primary (Classes 1‑5), Middle (Classes 6‑8), Secondary (Classes 9‑10) and Higher Secondary (Classes 11‑12) levels in Bihar. Applications are accepted online from 18 August 2026 to 30 September 2026. Candidates must satisfy the specific educational qualifications, age limits and Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET/BTET/STET) requirements mentioned for each category. The selection process consists of a Preliminary objective exam, a Main objective exam and final merit based on the Main exam score plus preference marks. No interview is conducted. Salary ranges from ₹28,000 to ₹32,000 basic pay depending on the post, with additional allowances as per state rules.
